Another office means local office which means you'll be getting interviewed. That's what I'm waiting for too. My case status haven't changed simce it was sent to Potomac

Hey,

Did you get any notice on mail for this change? Couse even I got this kind of update. NOA 1 10/16 and transfered on November 9th... My last status was the same but the date was December 2nd.

Anybody else got this kind of update before and what does that means, it got transfered again or what?

And on USCIS the "Next Steps" says the same: "We will prepare your case for officer review. If we need more information, we will notify you."

Don't believe anything those tier 2 officers say. I called on Wednesday and was told my petition will be approved in May but it was approved the same day I talked to her. My PD is 10/21 and was transferred to Potomac 11/9.

They finally and for the second time just updated the site and for my sisters case it states On March 13, 2016, we received your Form I-130, Immigrant Petition for Relative, Fiance(E), or Orphan, Receipt Number ***********, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address...what I do not get is why they updated it again when before it stated on December 2.....and same #######!!!!.....Also...what they mean by local office...do they mean state/city office we live in or the Field office aka Potomac Service Center...since it was sent there on Nov 9th!!

My sisters case got same update as you. I got an update that says freaking after Nov30th that they've sent request for evidence...am waiting for the mail...to see what evidence they're wanting

Yup yup...I believe absolutely nothing...see my status and my sisters changed once I made an appointment to go to the office...I think you should make an info pass and go talk to the immigration people...maybe that will flag it..so they can look at your folder. It's so frustrating...it seems you and I and my sister...hahahah are the only ones waiting for an approval...

Just Hanged up with T2. Got the chance to spoke to a very nice lady, she voluntarily submitted a service request for my case, PD 27oct15. She said Potomac is processing 16oct15. Hopefully the request will speed up the approval or something. One T2 told couple weeks ago that an officer picked up my case on 26Feb16 and it is being review. Just hoping to hear a positivenews this week or so.

can someone help me please I have called for the past like 2 months and when I do that trick 87716 when they anwser the phone

do they say say i am the tier 2 officer or should I ask for one they only state there name
