When NVC received your case they send you a welcome letter. In my case was two weeks after. Uscis approved my case.

Hi theonlymaster,

Did the welcome letter come with the case number? And how soon after that were you able to pay the AOS fee? Sorry that I am asking you so many questions it's just that NVC sent you the welcome letter really fast. I hope I will get mines soon so I can start this process and can finally have my husband. They received my paperwork from USCIS on Monday March 07, 2016.

Yes when you get the welcome letter. That included. Case number,invoice number and so many step. That you have to follow. One time you have all the information. You can created an agent. And pay the $120.00 fee for the affidavit of support. I get the approved notice. February 13th. then February 25th I get NVC Welcome Letter. Is like two weeks. In my case. Edited by theonlymaster

I went to the INS office and they finally told me oh they sent a request for evidence...and that's all. nothing else and the request for evidence...I am not sure what it is exactly but am assuming they'll ask for birth certificate b/c they had my hubbys bday wrong. They had the day as the month and the month as the day and I had to have them correct it.
