With some of us getting approved and moving on to nvc I feel like this thread will start emptying out.

Anyone interested in joining a Facebook group together Haha. I feel like you guys going through this journey with me are the only ones that understand the frustration

yeah thats a great idea ... this group has almost become like family to me in these tough times :-)

There is no need to submit financial documents now ... its required at the NVC stage This is really confusing ... I have read in this forum that who ever had a status change that its in the local of

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

Hi guys,

yesterday I received letters from NVC included case number inside and they received my case 03/1

So in 2 weeks after we got notice approval from uscis.

Congratulations. Same here I received a letters for my mother from NVC on February 13th but if I check at Uscis. status said. Transferred to potomac on November 10th. Actually already paid for the affidavit. $120 dollars. And I never get updates from uscis. I have text and email updates. On at my uscis account.

That's because your petition isn't with USCIS anymore, it's with the NVC, which is the State Department (a totally different government agency). You won't get any more updates on the USCIS website. Now you have to follow your petition through the CEAC online portal for NVC.
