Has anyone had any luck with an expedite when you find out you are pregnant and your spouse is abroad?

Just updated my spreadsheet. Of the 66 people who shared their information in this thread and were transferred from another service center TO Potomac, 34 have received their NOA2's (and 32 are still waiting). That's 51.52% approved so far.

According to my spreadsheet of transfers: Potomac is now at an average processing time of 112 days after TRANSFER date. This is 3.73 months of waiting after the petition was transferred to Potomac. (This is just a current average and it appears to be increasing as Potomac received more and more transfer cases as time went on.)

Unfortunately, pregnancy alone does not qualify a case for an expedite.

That is nuts. I will try to exhibit my financial need for him to be here as I cannot bear the thought of doing it without him... on top of how to afford childcare.

No one on VJ heard anything, but that doesn't mean Potomac wasn't working on the tens of thousands of other cases for people who filed petitions and are not on VJ. According to my spreadsheet, Potomac is slowing down. Look at the column all the way on the right for days from Transfer to NOA2...the number is increasing.

You might want to contact the person who started this thread and find out how she went from USCIS service Center to interview in a matter of weeks:

I don't agree with expediting for pregnancy. For every person that is expedited, everyone else is pushed further back one place. I have personally known a case (in that I knew the people involved) where the visa journey was expedited because the USC was due to have a liver transplant. In that situation I'd happily let someone have my place in the line. But why should my family planning decision push me further back because of your family planning decision?

In any event, you will find that a lot of people here share my view and won't want to give up their place in the line for you just for a pregnancy. But if you contact the person who started that other thread I'm sure she will share her tips on how she achieved it.

I just check nothing yet for my father. My mother is already at NVC. From February 13th

And went they get transfer to potomac was a day of difference between each application. My mother on November 10th my Father November 11th and nothing for him. Yet. ????
