Hello my fellow petitioners:) I have never posted anything here and want to share my happiness that today I got approved after 161days of waiting! I want to thank all of you for your comments and responses because they helped me a lot and I didn't have to call USCIS even once. I got a recent update on March 13 like some of you saying again that my case was received at local office and meybe that's a good sign if some of you are still waiting for approval and got that msg :) I want to wish everyone good luck and to be positive because I'm sure that you will bring this to a happy end soon!

(I checked via the iPhone app) no email nor letter yet!

which iphone app.?

May I point out that some of us who are still waiting past the 5 month mark are from Iraq, Bosnia, Morocco, and Tunisia :/

I tried to put my case number from Potomac and the IPhone app won't accept but on the internet sight it come up. Anybody else having this problem when using iPhone app to track their case from Potomac service center?

Put it through and it'll give you a date of when you can expect a reply. I did it for my sister and it said to expect a reply April 16 ? That's after our 6 month mark

May I point out that some of us who are still waiting past the 5 month mark are from Iraq, Bosnia, Morocco, and Tunisia :/

Yup it's all I think bc of these fudging groups! They're making it especially harder for men I think.

I downloaded the case tracker! It's wicked cool now I don't have to remember my case number it's added as a case so I can see the updates if they decide to update anything! Two weeks Bosnia before we both hit the 6month mark! ??????

HIK07. I think for filers originally sent to potomac with case numbers YSC the app isnt formatted for those (it didn't recognize mine either). The ones able to track their status using the app seem to be ppl who were transfers so their reciept numbers have a different prefix. Probably because Potomac is new. Also the app is a third party source not distributed by uscis. You can go to the uscis website and create a logon, put in your reciept number it will save and you can opt in for text and email alerts. FYI it took 40 days for my application to show it was recieved online. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the heads up. I hope they update the App. soon to include Potomac . Like to start using it.
