yaaaaaaaaa Thank God I got NOA2 approval notice. Nov. 18 notice date. it was transferred from NSC to Potomac service center on Oct.16. PD July 6. By the way, When I check the USCIS website for any update on my case nothing just the same message case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction.so my advice for those who transfer to new service center check your mail (regular mail ) daily . Good Luck everyone

Any other July filers being approved? Please post your dates too. I will hit my 5-months mark in a few days although our case was transferred to Potomac. I saw someone tried calling about their processing times and they were told to refer to their original ctr. Mine is Nebraska and the chart indicates they're at 5/2/2015 cases as of 9/30/15 yet another users indicated they are now at 6/20/15. Keep us posted.

My periority date was Oct 28. I got a notice of transfer to the Potomac Service Center on on Nov 9. My original service center is in Texas. USCIS transferred my petition to the Potomac center within only 11 days! Does this mean my Petition will be processed sooner than 5 months??!! ?

What is Priority Date? Is that the date we got our NOA1? Notice Date?

You can find yours on the first notice your received from USCIS. It's the date from which you can start counting x months for processing. Which month did you file? Good luck!

Hi all

My I-130 was received on July 14th in the Alaska office. We then received notification that my case was being transferred to Potomac on October 16th but cannot find any information on processing times for this office. Phone calls have proved fruitless too as the automated system is not recognising my receipt number. Any info anyone has on thus would be very helpful

Is rare that casefiles are transferred in this fashion.

Is there an i-485 in play?

CHEER UP FAMILY! MY PETITION HAS BEEN APPROVED... :joy::dance::joy:

My case was transferred from the Nebraska service center to the Potomac service center on Oct. 16, 2015. Just went to check my PO BOX an hour ago and found the NOA2 approval letter. It was approved on Nov. 18, 2015, so I guess it arrived 2 or 3 days ago. Don't loose hope, I bet your cases are going to be approved soon. My case took 4 months and 4 days to get approved. Also my mom has been assigned a green card alien number. :joy::jest:

If your case was transferred to the Potomac service center, that means your lucky, your processing times will speed up. Our immigration consultant initially told us that the hole process will take longer (aprox. 14-18 months) due to the heavy workload at the processing centers, but back then the Potomac service center wasn't open yet.

I'm so happy to know that I may soon bring my mom to live with me here in California, haven't seen her in 5 years. :)

Oh, another thing, don't rely on the online status check, It hasn't been updated to the latest information
