Hello Everyone,

We have been married for last 7 months, we have applied for i-130 ( my wife is us citizen ). We have hired attorney too.

its been more than 6 months we have submitted our CASE to Uscis. There is no update on our case just wondering, how long will it take and what will be the next step.

Welcome to "the club"... They say that wife´s/husbands of US citizens are priorities but they treat us like NO WAY priorities... :(

I´m waiting it´s been 3 months...

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)

When did you submit your petition? The Nebraska Service Center is processing I-130s for spouses from May 2015.

Are you serious , i mean yes husban/ wife are priority. we should have given PRIORITY. so how long did the UCIS take for the 1st step ( which i guess suppose to be taking only 5 months) , bcz i m trying to b optimistic and thinking that they are only counting working days. so i should wait little more.

My case got moved to NVC within 4 months and right now we are in the AOS & IV package process. USCIS page there's a wait of an average of 5 months. Check in with your Attorney.

thats good news, but in my case its been 6 months and my case status still says its in process.I think it depends on country from which you are applying, they have different time slots for different countries ( just a guess)

I don't think it's the country....Nebraska Service Center is actually quite backlogged since they have a lot of cases. They've even been transferring some of their cases to other service centers.

I'm guessing you submitted your petition in June? If so, you're still within the processing time since they're doing May petitions.

Hopefully, they'll get to yours soon.

Well you are only at 4 1/2 months (not 6 months) under the processing time. Nebraska has been approving at 5 months to 5 1/2 moths like clock work.

Fill out your timeline and it will have the estimate for you to go by. It's pretty accurate give or take a week. But please help others by filling out your timeline.
