Hello I am hoping someone can help me. I am in a marriage that is just not working out. When I got married I had no idea that my husband had a wife before or kids. Now I just recently found out he got another girl pregnant during the time we have been together. I am just fed up with all the lies.

I have just recently gotten my 10 year green card. What would happen to my immigration status if I divorced my husband before becoming a citizen? Can he have me deport or refuse to continue to be my sponsor? Do I always have to inform the USCIS where I am living while I am here on green card status?

Nothing he can do now. You're a permanent resident now and no one can force the government to deport anyone.

No reason to inform the USCIS of anything.

Only thing I see here is if you can't obtain citizenship based on the 3 year rule (marriage to a USC).
