We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents. While we will schedule your case for an interview, either your Affidavit of Support was incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. This could affect the Consular Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.

On the attached Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to correct. Go to the Department of State's website at http://nvc.state.gov/aosand follow the instructions for the Affidavit of Support form(s).

If your Affidavit of Support form(s) needs correction:  Fill out a new form(s) online.

 Print, sign and send the original form(s) to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview. Do not send the updated form(s) to the NVC.

If we are missing required supporting documents:

 Send the missing documents to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview. Do not send the documents to the NVC.

The NVC will send your case to the processing U.S. Embassy or Consulate General. Please make sure that the documents you take to your interview are in the correct order and stapled together, as stated in the I-864 Important Notice instructions.

The National Visa Center (NVC) recently reviewed your I-864 Affidavit of Support form.

The Affidavit of Support form had one or more sections with missing or incorrect information or was missing required supporting documents, or both.

Please review the instructions below to complete a new Affidavit of Support form or to obtain the missing supporting documents. Send the corrected Affidavit of Support form or original documents that are missing to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the immigrant visa interview. You should also send photocopies of the Affidavit of Support form to the principal applicant for each traveling family member to take to the visa interview. Failure to take the original documents and copies for each traveling family member to the visa interview can cause processing delays. The Consular Officer will review the corrected form and documents at the time of the interview.

You do not need to contact the NVC at this time. Also, do not send an updated I-864 Affidavit of Support form or documents to the NVC. After we schedule the immigrant visa interview, we will send you an appointment letter.

That is the extract of the checklist i received from NVC on 06.10.2015 evening. The Bold lines which i did my self it seems they were in the process of scheduling my interview with the embassy despite of missing documents. What happened the day before i received the checklist i talked with the a rep she told me your case is on pause and we require missing documents i.e My Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate which i already sent them twice. She urge me to send them Asap inorder to complete the case. I sent the documents in the morning the very next day and in evening i received this checklist. And now I regret why did i sent them these documents where as it states I dont need to submit any thing. Yesterday when again I called NVC the Rep said that my documents are in process of Review which means another 30-45 days wait time. I also mentioned to him that the checklist i received states that i dont need to submit any thing to NVC which to my surprised said the checklist was a false checklist I said How come this can be a false checklist and he said some times it happens. Now I am lost what to do. It seems we will be stuck at NVC for ever. Every time I call I hear a different story. Should i believe the checklist regarding that they are actually in process of scheduling my interview as the checklist said or Did i really made the mistake by sending them the missing documents which put me on hold for another 30 days review.

Your Checklist is indeed identical to mine. But reading from your posts it seems u haven't send them any thing yet. I have only sent them my Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate coz the rep only mentioned about these too. Regarding I-864 and I864-A she did not mention anything only checklist stated that it also got some errors. I have no Idea How to fill these forms again i.e I 864 and I-864A our shitty consultant did that which now we have fired because he was of no use so now we have to fill it our selves as per NVC instructions but i need guidance regarding filling these if u can help me that will be appreciated and second thing so reading your post do i have to send them these forms too or i can take them to interview directly as stated in the checklist what should be right for me to do wait or send them these as well.

I call these idiots every other day no rep and supervisor left un touched u name it i have talked to Silvia, Andy, Amanda, What was the other supervisor name was i Think John and to countless reps they will never tell u the same thing even if u call them twice on the same day. The other day like i said i called the guy he just said the same old thing its in process of review u have to wait for thirty days. Some one should tell those idiots we have been waiting for the stupid review since july and our documents were reveiwed so many times before they sent us the stupidest checklist which the rep denied saying its a false checklist. ####### it was generated through their own system and they call it false what ever they tell turns out to be lie it self. They should have the courtcy to guide u straight or tell u exactly whats going on with your case. Their example is like a blind man with a bow who shoots the arrow in the air and hopes it falls on the target. Even the worst help centres in the world provide better services than NVC.

I understand ur frustration.but getting mad on them is not going to slove ur issue.many of us have been caught same suitition .i know once if any check list is updated in there system no matter false or true.they will follow there system no matter who u talk,cos u don't know who reviewd ur documents. So I suggest u should call nvc today,if u get same response that checklist say,then sorry to say u have to follow the checklist, do what ever they said or u will b stuck months more. After sending they said 30 days,I saw some member approved in 15 days after sending there check list.

Thats what i amm trying to say their checklist clearly states i dont need to send them any thing every thing they mentioned as missing or wrong should be corrected and sent to the Beneficiary to take it to the interview. How much clear it could get than this. And the smart ### rep said its false okie if its false then why did the rep said they only need my Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate why didnt they mentioned it before that My I 864 and I 864 A forms contains error and i need to refill and resubmit them inorder to process further in my case. But as i said they dont even know what is actually happening to our case. And regarding being rude I know it well getting rude on them is like wasting your breath and energy like you are talking to a wall the best they could do is hang up on you and your time and money get wasted without any word exchange

If u having a joint sponsor and his/her income is combine .then u have to submit it to nvc with irs tax transcript and w2 2014 .and new i864 with ur birth certificate and marriage certificate have to b present at the time of interview. Basically it's 2 check list .one u have to send nvc or their u have to bring at time of interview. If u it still unclear about checklist make a call to understand it better,

Brother we already submitted Tax transcript to them thats why they marked things which needs to be corrected and if u read the checklist there is no mentioning of sending any thing to NVC but still i had the same doubt and i called them afterwards lady before the guy Whom i talked day before yesterday i specifically asked her if they need any thing else from me twice she said no every thing looks fine just wait for the review to complete and next day i again called yesterday which i already mentioned the guy replied wait for 30 days thats it
