Hi i was just wondering if my husband, who is a (usc) has to send in a I-129f for my daughter who is his step daughter. he has filled out and I-129f for me, my ? is does he have to send one for her or is her k/4 apart of my k/3? can some one help me because i dont want him to send it, if he has to fill one out for her. :help:

No you do not have to. As long as she is listed on the I-129f petition she will enter the US as a K4. Have you already sent in the I-130 for her? If not you will eventually have to once you do the AOS process.

nyseness is correct. An I-129F is only required to be sent for you. The K-4 is a derivative of the K-3. As stated by nyseness, an I-130 will be required for your daughter once in the US on the K-4, at the adjustment of status stage. An I-130 can either be filed once in the US or now along with the I-130 petition submitted for you. It can be beneficial to submit the I-130 earlier rather than later for your daughter because if for whatever reason you decide to interview for the Immigrant Visa instead, your daughter will not have a visa to apply for as there is no derivative visa with the Immigrant Visa. She would need her own approved I-130.
