Need help with Supporting Documents!!!

I have an I-130 currently at NVC awaiting financial and supporting documents.

Confused as to what and how to get Police checks.

Lived in New Zealand for 4 years and Canada (both on working holiday visas) for 15 months then 1 year.

Do I need police check from Canada if only temporary resident?

And how do I get police checks from New Zealand and Canada whilst in Australia.

The Reciprocity website is super confusing.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Jessica,

I understand that you will need police checks for anywhere you have resided for more than 6 months.

This means you'll need one for both Canada and New Zealand.

I don't know how the reciprocity agreement works, someone who is more familiar with the process will likely follow with some answers.

Now to figure out HOW to get them.

So I'm going to go through a company called fingerscan.ca they help with getting Canadian Police Clearance's from outside Canada.

All Police Checks from outside of Canada need to submit fingerprints to get the Clearance. I will be calling my local police station about it tomorrow.

Now yo get my New Zealand Clearance emailed off.
