Hi all,

My spouse is currently visiting her family in Peru and we just received a notification from USCIS that her Green Card is in production. She had planned to enter on her Combo Card Employment Authorization/Advance Parole. I can't find much written about this topic...maybe this is not a very common concern.

Should she inform the Immigation Officer when entering the country that the Green Card was mailed? If it arrives at our house before she leaves Peru should I try to DHL it to her?

Will there be any issues re-entering on her Advance Parole?

Thanks so much for your help.

No issue. Tats what the Advance Parole for reentry is. Please do not mail the green card not good idea. She is fine. How long has she been gone (I hope not more than 6 months).

They already know she is GC holder, it is in system. They will be able to look it up using her A# on AP. You are just fine, just use Citizen/LPR lane when she arrives here in the US.
