I had sent out all the documents and I received back a cover letter of missing documents. It states:

Your _____2014______________________________ IRS transcript from the most recent tax year. You

can get a transcript on the IRS' website: http://www.irs.gov/individuals/order-a-transcript. If you cannot get
an IRS transcript, please send a photocopy of your federal individual income tax return. If you provide a
photocopy, you must include a copy of every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your return(s).
I had send out form W-2 before and apparently that is not good enough. It is currently very difficult for me to get an IRS transcript. What are they referring to when they say photocopy of my federal individual income tax return?

You have two options:

1) Submit 2014 IRS tax transcript.

2) Submit entire 2014 fedral income tax return and 2014 W2s.

Federal income tax return is copies of the forms you filed when you did your taxes i.e. Form 1040 etc.

Thank You very much. I'll send my 1040 form then.

Make sure you send copies of every form attached to the federal return [Form 1099 etc.]

I would also send the W2s again, just to be safe.
