Hi Guys! I'm gathering all the documents for the AoS Package and I have a question. I'm currently unemployed (since 05/01/2015) I made an agreement with the company I was working with and, even when the exit was voluntarily, they paid me a compensation for all the years I have worked there. My question is, should I include the copy of the agreement as supporting documents?

Thanks in advance!

Even though you received compensation, you'll still need a joint sponsor unless you're planning on using assets to sponsor.

If you're using a joint sponsor then providing the agreement and supporting docs won't really be necessary.

We are not using a Joint Sponsor. We are going to use our assets (cash -almost 80k- and properties) and the current income of my husband (intending immigrant). He has his own company with a monthly income that he is not going to lose.

Do you think that's Ok? or should I think of something else?

Ahh, okay. Yeah, that should be fine.

For a household size of 4, you'll need $30,312 x 3 = $90,936 in assets.

But, if you are using the intending immigrant's income as well, then it'll be $30,312 - [amount of income he earns annually] x 3 for the amount of assets you'll need.
