Mumbai embassy; k1 visa process after approval and interview

Okay guys, heres the deal; I cannot find any information regarding this and everything I do find is ancient. I had my interview on Friday the 16th of October at the Mumbai embassy for k1 visa and was approved. They kept my passport and documents and gave me a slip saying "congratulations your visa was approved" and it had a few steps on what to expect. On that slip it says " you will hear from us in 3-5 business days via sms and email letting you know your passport and visa is ready for pick up. Now its been 10 calendar days and Today is the 5th business day. I know I may be a little impatient but it seems to me that people applied to mumbai in order to recieve their passport within 3 working days. Im super duper bummed out as I've had to cancel two flights already. People with recent mumbai k1 experiences please reply and let me know what the processing times were and when your case went from ap to issued.. also its above my head why its in ap if they approved it and kept my passport? when i researched they said people with ap were the ones with 221g form? replies appreciated!
