Hi! This post was probably asked many times already. But I am just curious if I take 2 laptop with me to Philippines will this be a problem? One of them will be unopened box. The other one is for personal use. Where should I put the unopened box? Will check in be safe? Or will it be ok to put it on my check in?

Just me but I would take it out of the box and say that one is for work and the other personal use, traveled into pinas alot with 2 laptops, that way you dont have to declare it, I never tried with an unopened one

Joshua has the best answer. If you declare the laptop be prepared to pay 3/4 of the value in custom fees. Open it, carry with, but NOT in checked baggage.

Open the box, turn it on, turn it off, then put it back in the box.... it is now used. ;)

Last trip we brought two laptops, 7 tablets (5 of the tablets were gifts, and all were in carry on. All used ;) ) no issues at all.

There will be no problem if you take two laptops with you to the Philippines. I took two laptops and a IPAD there back in June. Just make sure to put it in your carryon bag so it doesn't go "missing".
