i am having a panic attack. My husbands interview is in 3 days and we were preparing this week for the interview. While going through the information in DS 260 we realized our lawyer had made a bunch of mistakes!!

I had typed everything out on a word document for him, but he confused us I suppose with other clients and made many errors on the form. I had my husband print out the the whole form and correct the mistakes and bring proof of the corrected information for his interview but Im so scared this will result in a denial.

Mistakes he made:

Country of Origin: India

The whole application states that he was born in the UK and he has his passport and original NVC submitted to NVC so I am hoping this will be overlooked?

Have you had any other nationalities/passport: Pakistani

He has old expired passports for proof that he will bring

Mothers date of birth: he can't get his hands on her birth certificate but she has a current valid passport that he will bring to the interview

Previous address:

He confused an address where I lived and put it under his information. Not sure what to do about this? He just hasn't lived there.

Denied USA visa/entry:

lawyer answered no but he was denied a B1 visa in 2014. he will just inform the CO at the interview I suppose?

With that many mistakes I am freaking out. Any suggestions?

Hey KSAMAD

First of all Congrats for making it this far! Secondly, since your case is already at the embassy my advice would be that your husband take the corrected form with him and inform the Consular Officer as soon he reaches the interview and then they should make the necessary changes. Wishing you and your husband all the best! :star:

Thank you for your help and kind words. I have printed out a letter notifying them of the mistakes and will have him notarize it. Praying that all will be ok. Thanks again and wishing you the best of luck with your journey
