Clarification about interview rescheduling limit?

I had a conflict with my medical so I'm unable to attend the interview set by NVC on May 13 and delayed for 2 months waiting for the results of the culture. Unfortunately, my case has been affected also by the retrogression this past few months (F1 category) that started on June. But during that time when my case is still not current, I took the risk and set an interview on August 3. I got good results regarding my eligibility for cspa, but the consul said to wait until my case becomes current again and set another interview.

Next month, my case will be current again but my medical is already expired this month. I'm planning to renew it but my worry is that, what if I set another appointment and unable to attend it because of a conflict again =_= in my medical? Coz I've been reading this 2 reschedule limit for interview, can anyone clarify that?

And which is better to deal with it, I have 2 options as of now,

1. Attend interview first then medical, so that I don't need to worry about the limit if any, but I'm not sure if it's valid since interview letter is needed on medical (and if I can do this post interview).

2. Set interview but do medical first a week prior to interview, but I already rescheduled once so this will be the last if there's any limit. Chance is 50/50 depending on the result of medical.
