:whistle: hi does anybody know where I can get information about appeals I 290B or his anybody in my situation my waiver for I 130 was denied :help:

:unsure: hello there has anyone's waiver been denied and did you have to apply for a appeal please let me know i had to apply for an appeal scince Sep 06 and still waiting :crying:

You can see the processing times for I-601 at the AAO here (it is currently 18 months): http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

You can call AAO for status on this number: 202-272-1212, they can confirm it was received but not much more than that.

You can also contact your congressman for assistance on making inquiry, which I would recommend, at least familiarize them with your case.

Yes, I was referring to an appeal for a denied I-601 waiver that was sent to the AAO.

has your waiver been denied are you appealing???

Yes, our waiver was denied and we filed an appeal. I posted a link to the timelines for the AAO. For the 601 they state they are taking 18 months. Our appeal was supposedly going to be expedited, on Dec 4 they said they would answer in 30 days. It is 3 months later and we are still waiting for them to answer.

hi well our waiver was denied our I 130 and we had to appeal 1290B and we appealed o n Sep 5 2006 and still waiting ??

they toke 9 months to tell us our waiver will be denied can you believe this ?? we dont have kids yet but i think this is not the problem ???????? i am so fustrated my husband contacted our lawyer and he called Ciudad Juarez and they said it may take up to 2 yrs iam so fustrated goung crazzzzzzzzzzzzzy :crying:

My guess is that your waiver maybe weak, it used to not matter too much at CDJ, but I get the impression that they check more carefully now.

You many be better off starting again and going through the Fastrack scheme.
