So, my fiance received a letter from the embassy (package 3) towards the end of the last week. It has the standard checklist of the required items he will need to gather prior to the interview. But apparently it does not list when or where he should pay the required fee of $265 to the U.S. Consulate. I imagine that this fee will definitely have to be paid prior to the interview, but when he inquired about the payment no one at the embassy was able to answer his question. Anyone that has been through the process have any ideas or advice?

In one month/ or week , depends on the embasy, you will be notified for sceduling the interview, there, will be notification about payment and the way you will make the interview appointment .

It's is called package 4. In this package you will get even the notification about medical examination.

This was the way we passed in our embassy and I think is the same even in others. Depends on the way that they notified you ( by email or mail)

Things are getting closer to you. Wish all the best and pation
