K1 Visa Stuck Since May 2015

I submitted K1 petition May 20 and received Notice of Action Form I-797C receipt in the May 28. Ever since then it hasn't been touched, case history time line shows a check mark that it's been received. It seems like others on VJ are progressing all the way through to approval and they filed after May. I believe our paper work is in proper order. CSC time shows processing of K1 is 5 months, so does that mean we are the lucky ones that it takes longer, but never know the reason why? Suggestions or positive thoughts are welcome because we are getting anxious now. Thanks!

Waiting for the NOA2 was the most stressful part of this journey for me so I understand completely where your coming from. Mine took exactly 6 months but then everything went super fast.

It's a great mystery why some get processed faster then others but unfortunately all you can do is wait. Your still within the may filers time frame so just keep checking on your status for any update.

Yep we did call and asked them to approximate when our case would be looked at, they said in August, we got our NOA2 on the 28th. Give them a call, it can be reassuring even if they don't tell you too much.
