Hi,

I am an Australian waiting for my k1 visa approval. Had my interview last Aug 27 but was given 221g as I was waiting for police certificates from other countries I lived. Our I-129F is expiring at the end of the month. Anyone done a revalidation letter? Is email from my fiancée to the visa section enough?

Second, I waited for 60days to inquire about my application as per instruction & now, the consulate said that they informed me that my Clearance letter from Toronto Police was incorrect but I never received any prior correspondence beforehand. Would it be possible to contest this or I just go ahead and just get the RCMP that needs fingerprinting???!!

Oh, the hassles...

the petition doesnt expire. it gets updated automatically as long as you dont abandon it.

in my opinion you should just follow their instructions.

hello, hope you're doing well. I need to ask you something about the police certificates from the other countries you lived in. My consulate just received my petition and I was going through the things i need to get ready for my interview. And the one thing i am still not sure about was the Police Certificates in the countries I lived in. How can I acquire those? I lived in the UAE for a year and in Saudi Arabia for almost 6 months for work purposes. Your input will be much appreciate it.

Good luck moving forward!.

Hello,

Hope your case goes well.

I would like to ask you a question regarding the Police Certificates from the other countries you lived in. To put things into perspective, Me and my fiancee have received our NVC letter just yesterday. Upon checking the Status of the Petition through the tracking number we got, It appears that my papers have already arrived here to my consulate, since the Status was "Ready" for my petition, and I still haven't prepared any papers yet. So i went to my consulate's website to find out whats the legal papers needed for me to bring for my interview, and one of them was the Police Certificates from my Country and any country I lived in during the passed 5 years. Since I lived abroad, in two different countries for work related reasons during that time, i was a bit confused on how I was supposed to acquire these Police certificates from the corresponding countries. I would really appreciate your input on this matter.

Good luck on your Journey, and thank you again.
