My case is past the official processing date!

Our case was submitted on January, but TSC is now processing February case status officially. My fiancé has made an inquiry and we have to wait till mid November for an answer but now I'm just worried that there was an issue with our packet? Has anyone else faced the same issue before? I'm freaking out because I'm so worried that they took one look at our application. And threw it out the window or something.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I am also in same situation. I applied on January 2015 and did not get any update, then I had to open an Service Request. I was told it will take about 45 days to get an answer. which is mid of November. It is so frustrating and and worried.every time I call them the says its in process. I don't hear anything else beside that. Good luck with your case. I need good luck as well. Please update us here if you get any update from USCIS.

Im a january filer as well they passed me up too. I filed an inquiry Sept 15th they never responded even though i was told it was mandatory for them to respond within 30 days of filing the inquiry. The deadline for them was October 16th. I submitted a 2nd inquiry that same day, and emailed tsc as well as i was told to do. It is all a complete waste of time.

I noticed this morning that they responded to my service request. Stating that they cannot go forward with my case until background checks are completed. That if i don't get a response back within 6 months of receving this message then to give them a call. I expected this as I read someone else's forum who wasn't hearing anything in regards to submitting an inquiry then by the 2nd inquiry she submitted they responded with the same exact message i got. Supposedly it'll take at least 2-/2 months to respond to this background check from what ive read in other forums. Just like i read that it takes the avg. person that sends their k-1 app to tsc to expect approval or dissaproval within 5-7 months, meanwhile im closing in on 10 months. The way they've been handling my case and the runarounds ive been getting by USCIS worthless representatives over the phone i fully expect them to not only take the full 6 months but to surpass it. Lol ?????. Hopefully none you are going through what me and my fiance are going thru. you tsc!!!!!
