Hi guys..i just want to hear any suggestions and advices.Im here in the U.S. for almost 11 months and im under CR-1 visa.My husband passed away a week ago and i want to ask if what is my next step to do or Is CR-1 visa can be affected for the lost of my husband? Thank you

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Since you came under CR-1, you have the 2-year conditional green card. Even though your husband has passed, you'll still be able to remove conditions to obtain a 10-year unconditional green card.

When you remove conditions before your green card expires, you'll be filing the I-751. On the form, you'll need to check off "My spouse is deceased" under the "Waiver Request filing". You'll still need to provide evidence of a bona fide marriage.
