Correct. I believe I read somewhere that the emergency AP could be issued the next business day but, don't quote me.

Yes, I wrote about it in this thread just a few posts above your former post. I had to get an Emergency AP when my dad got pancreatic cancer and had a few days left to live. Please don't spread misleading information.

My information wasn't misleading. If you read, I wrote if they were filing for aos the AP card would come 90 days. If she decides to leave then (after she receives the card), she won't get a 3 year ban or ten.

I'm sorry I mixed this one up with a similar thread.

So we just got notice that the AP was approved. :dancing: Now I'd like to know, is that good news regarding the AOS? Is it likely that it will be issued soon?

Congratulations on getting your AP approved. It does not however indicate when you'll get your AOS. Some wait months, some wait much longer.

Thank you for the reply. Waiting stinks, but we will wait the months. We have no choice. But, is the probability of approval higher now that the AP has been approved? In other words, are the reasons and criteria for AP approval an indicator that things bode well for the AOS approval? Thank You!!

AP is routinely approved for people with pending AOS. it doesn't mean anything about the AOS itself, though most AOS are approved.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
