Hi everyone. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about how and when I-130's travel from field offices to NVC? I had my interview on Oct. 1 and was told I would have a decision within 30 days. On Monday, the 19th, my USCIS case status updated to approved. I was surprised as it had never updated when case was transferred to the field office so I thought it was stuck forever on the last status. So I was pleasantly surprised to get the text and the email. But as of today I still have received no notice (NOA2) from the field office, and I live in the same city!

I know most I-130's go to NVC from service centers and probably not many go from field offices. So I'm thinking maybe they only send them out every so often...weekly, monthly, etc. I am wondering if anyone else might know how this works. I am kind of anxious as it took 10 months for the I-130 approval so I'm excited to get moving on with this. I'm not sure when I should start calling NVC to check.

Thanks for any input. It's appreciated!
