Hi Guys,

I have used this site before. I got divorced a couple months ago from my k-1 fiance as things were not working out. we have been separated for 10 months and divorced for 4 months. She was originally from morocco, I have since then found another girl that I started to love is completely different than my first wife. I wanted to see what are you guys thoughts on my situation.

The new Fiance is from Morocco as well different part of the country, I am filling for another K-1 since the first one went so smooth.


I am 25 years old, she is 27 years old.

What are the chances it will go as smoothly as the first petition? I meet all requirements.

So does this mean that she will get denied this visa because of me previous poor judgement I have been with her for 8 months before the divorce was finalized

Spend a lot of time together, face time.

Make sure this is legit and don't marry simply because you want her here.

A lot of people consider Long distance relationships and meeting a couple of times equivalent to a honeymoon type of love. That's why when a lot of people end of living together and finding out the other person is "so much more different" and are surprised.. Face time and a lot of it is really important.

I'd be careful though, and again, put A LOT of emphasis on the relationship being legit. While your K-1 may have gone easy before, you may have a hard time now.

How long were you married? How long have you known this new girl? How long have you been dating her? How many times have you seen her in person?




Edit: She won't get straight up denied, but you're going to need to make sure you can prove bona fide relationship.

As for you dating her 8 months before the divorce was finalized that's fine in most cases. I started dating my fiance the same day I seperated from my ex, the divorce wasn't finalized for a year and a couple of months later because of how long it takes here for pro se divorce cases. We had no problem since the decree says when we seperated.

I was married for 2 years exactly

I have known this girl for 8 months

Dating for 7 months

Saw her 2 times since because of my work restrictions.

Did you do Removal of Conditions for your exwife, or did she go back to Morroco because she didn't receive her 10 year green card?

If she went back, then that bodes better for you.

That Embassy is very difficult for K-1s.

If she is still here, then you may have to prove that you are just not running a visa fraud scam where you get them here on a K-1, marry so they can AOS and get their GC and then divorce and are free to live in the US.

It's a common visa scam scene a lot from the EU.

"Trust me" is not going to work with uscis

You have to understand that we answer as how USCIS would have answered. It's not that we don't believe you. But USCIS will give you a hard time, just spend more time with her in real life before u decide to marry.

Removal of Conditions IS getting the green card, it would look better if you had left her BEFORE she got her 10 year green card.

Agreeing with others, it's going to look like that you're running a scam to bring women here, marry them, get them their 10 year, divorce and repeat. Even with just one time, that's all they need. There is no trust me, it's all about the facts to them.

Like song says "Nice & slow", its just too quick & can be perceived as a form

of business arrangements, spend time with new lady, record everything, there

should be no hurry, or it'll be like waving a big red flag

Ah okay yeah when we were getting our divorce the lawyer asked me to sign a I 757 for her I told her lawyer to go pound sand
