Hello, My brother married a woman from Venezuela with a five year old son. She came to this county on a work or tourist visa, and she has overstayed her visa. She is now married to my brother and they just had baby boy. He is filing the I-485 and I130 concurrently for both the wife and her son. They have asked me to be a sponsor, and I’m wondering do I fill out two separate I-864 for the wife and son? If I do fill out two separate I-864, do I count the son as part of the total household on the wife’s I-864, and do I count the wife as part of the total household on the son’s I-864. I appreciate any help you can provide.

He should be filing separate I-485 and I-130 for the son and you need to complete a separate I-864 for each person.

You don't need to count the son on the wife's I-864 and don't count the wife on the son's I-864.
