Hello,

Nice to meet everyone. I hope this is the correct forum for these questions. I will have a bunch.

I have been in the Philpinnes for over 6 months and I was married in June. We are getting thyings together and plan on filing the petition in Manilla next week or soon after.

I am self employed and after deducations and expenses my gross is going to below the required poverty line percentage. My parents though have agreed to cosponsor and they earn well above the requirements. Am I going to be ok in this aspect?

Also, Hypothetical here: If my wife were to get pregnant while in the midst of this process how would this effect our Visa?

Thanks

Yep, you will complete an I-864 and then your parents will complete another I-864 as joint sponsors and if they earn enough to sponsor, then you're in the clear.

Pregnancy will have no influence on the visa.

Thank you so much.

I asked a company to help me and he told me this:

Using a joint sponsor even parent is most likely to be denied by the National Visa center which would also prevent a US Embassy Interview for your wife.

Is there anyone here who used a joint sponsor and got approved?

In regards to the pregnancy, are we supposed to mention this somewhere?

Thanks

Also, does my co sponsor need to fill out the I864 or just the I864A?

My parents are retired so what do I need to supply from them besides taxes?

I have so many questions. Do I need to start new threads for eachy small question or can I address them all here?

Thanks
