Help get Police Clearance Certificate in India

Hello,

I am helping two different people bring their spouses here to the United States. Both cases are stuck at the same place now. NVC emailed another checklist stating the police clearance needs to be submitted. We have submitted 2 different pcc for both cases and now I am not sure what to do. Can anyone help me where to get police clearance in New Delhi and Leh Ladakh. how does a police clearance look? Are we submitting wrong ones? Once They went to local police office and another one they went to district police office. Now I am not sure what to do. Please help!!!

The U.S. Department of State website tells you exactly where you should get the PCC. Here's the link, just click on section that says "Police, Court, Prison Records" section.

Online Status changes: Card being produced- 5/24/2019; case is approved - 5/28/2019; Card is mailed - 5/29/2019; USPS picked up for delivery - 5/30/2019 (ETA 6/1/2019)

Approval letter received: 5/31/2019 showing approval date of 5/24/2019

Card received: 6/1/2019

Notification of Passport/Visa ready for pick up: June 21, 2016;  Visa in hand: June 22, 2016

POE (DFW): July 4, 2016; SS Card received: July 14, 2016; Green Card received: September 8, 2016

Applied for corrected GC: October 7, 2016; Corrected GC approved: December 16, 2017;  Corrected GC Received: December 22, 2017

Hello,

i knew that i am sharing with you there is two type of pcc once is police clearance and other is passport clearance if your passport is more then six month old then you need passport clearance to submit may it help you
