right?! too bad most can't afford to.

Sad but true. Hopefully our 20 year plan will let us retire early with enough pension and savings.

If the population growth rate declines it might be necessary to work until 75 to keep the economy going.

Here we have oldies directing traffic, cleaning buildings, doing all the jobs the young don't want to do...

Can't you feel the wealth trickling down your leg?

ah, so warm.

my 20 year plan is just to make it 20 years without some massive medical expense or streak of bad luck setting me back to starting line (no passing go, no collect $200.00)

and with walmart getting rid of greeters, my future is in shambles at my feet.

there will be cats, regardless. something to smile about.

You need to learn a lesson from America. We keep our population young by fostering immigration, and recognizing that America was built on the shoulders of immigrants. [EOS]

That will all change in 2017, when President Trump is inaugurated. We all know how well the economy does in the aftermath of a GnOP president. My March 2017 our streets will be all gilded, once again.

ah, so warm.

The visa laws have become much more lax. Lots of Chinese and Vietnamese now working at the local convenience stores. 10 years ago they would have had to stick to construction or hostess/host jobs(paid under the table and far more open to exploitation). The local community colleges for medical care givers has about 50 percent foreign students. Big changes in the last 4years. Edited by Jacque67

Isn't that why some of "us" marry a spouse from a so called 3rd world so we can retire there, since the cost of living is lower there. I told my wife this, and she just laughed at me.

If the Canadian Peso keeps dropping , I may be able to retire there at 62

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I am starting to see a lot of Vietnamese come in our bussiness. A lot of them are buying huge poultry farms around here. The chickens have immaculate nails also.

A lot of times in order to sell to some other cultures, you have to be almost rude and abrupt, in ways you would not have to be to locals.

As the life expectancy rates continue to rise the retirement age has not kept pace. The retirement age needs to be increased, especially to keep social security solvent.

Plus it seems the best way to get the attention of an old person is the word FREE. Draws them in like flies to ####.
