It's very unlikely that you are going to receive an email asking for anything. Usually, when they want something, they will give you a 221g at the releasing window.

The next thing you're going to receive is a text from 2GO telling you that your visa packet is on the way!

Yup. Something new that is taking place at USEM. You now get an email requesting the documents needed to complete the visa processing. She just has to wait and see if an email comes or if she get's the visa delivered since she is unsure what exactly was said at departure from the CO's window.

Not no more, stopped doing that some time back. There is no letter given at the releasing window anymore. Only an email is send with the 221g request.

Thanks for the update.

Yes they send e-mails now instead I received an e-mail like 20mins after my fiance interviewed before she even talked to me how her interview went. They seem pretty fast about that but they also did tell her at the window she needed additional aka documents because of a corrected misspelling of her name on birth certificate.

Hi, got our interview done last Tuesday and same thing happened. Except that the staff at the releasing counter told me that it seems there are no more additional requirements needed from you. Just don't make any flight arrangements yet until your visa arrives. Something like that.

Now our case is on Administrative Processing since yesterday. I wonder how long it's going to be like that.

We actually have our flights arranged and will be leaving on Nov. 3. Got my CFO scheduled on Oct. 29.

Keeping my fingers crossed for us and for those who are still waiting.

hey the same thing happened to me. I just got approved last monday and the CO didn't even bother to look at our affidavit of support and proof of relationship. I'm just waiting for my visa now . ??

Yup, the reason could be because it was submitted together with i129F. ..cost my fiance 100$ to send me documents that were never asked by the consul :P

btw, congratulations to your approval! :)
