Well, we got notice today that my husband's paperwork is being transferred to Baltimore, which is our local USCIS office. I am hoping this is forward motion, and that paperwork isn't going to sit in Baltimore for six more months.

i too hope that its a forward motion

lets see if anybody has an idea about this and can let us know !
