any idea how much more time it will take

me finding out no route

thinking of k-3 now but almost 5 months have passed

in case i apply for k-3 how much time will it take more to process

and if i go with my i-130 any idea approx.. how much time it might take more??

What reason do they give you when you call them? Seems almost like you're going through some type of security checks, which can happen I guess at any point in the process. There are other people who have been stuck at the same point and that is the reason for it. Historically though Vermont is the fastest service center to deal with. Good luck.

If anyone has problem with VERMONT SERVICE CENTER about processing I-130 Cases. Please do the following three things

1. Please call your state senators and Congressman for help. Please describe your situation and how this center mishandling your case.
   
2. Please call Dept. of Homeland Security at 202-282-8000 and ask them to transfer to Office of Inspector General. Make a formal complaint about mishandling I-130 cases for US Citizen and Residents.
   
3. Please call WASHINGTON POST at 202-334-7572 and talk to PAM CONSTABLE. She is a immigration reporter for Washington post and she will write an atricle about this cases. Please get as many people you can find in this same situation.

Thank you Reggie, I have already contacted my congressman and representative. And the congressman and representatives in Vermont. I will contact and complain to the Inspector General and call Pam Constable. I appreciate you posting this information very much.

What wait time constitutes a problem? I have been waiting for 5 months for the NOA2 for my step-daughter. For some reason I thought this would take around 3 months or less. I just figured I was wrong. The wait has really thrown off plans to bring my step-daughter over here this year.

Do you think I should raise this as a problem to the government/press? I'm confident they will hear me, however I'm worried that this wait may just be the norm.

if you have exceeded the timeline they are showing then its a matter of concern n you need to call them up ,otherwise 5-7 months wait till noa-2 is going normal with vermont at present .

thats true they have not updated their info since last dec 2006 but the fact is that they are still some cases of march 12 , 2006 that vermont is processing ,

its better to wait for noa-2 till the timeline they show or you can try contacting them after the golden 180 day mark of wait till noa-2 of is over for you ,

then you can contact congressmen or senators of your area to expedite your case at nvc stage too ,

well the wait is so pathetic for now on but there is no way out

i really wish you a speedy process
