I called NVC today and they said they have received my case and already sent it to Ho Chi Minh City yesterday October 20, 2015. Base on the case number, They received my case on October 16.

How many days do it takes until Ho Chi Minh receives my case? Or how fast does mail takes?

How fast does Ho Chi Minh process petition? Will I have to wait months?

Since I have the case number can I go online and pay fees and complete form? Or do I need to wait until my fiancee received the paperwork from Ho Chi Minh?

Since you said fiancee, I'm going to assume it's K-1.

08/06/2016: Completed DS-261/Paid AOS Bill

08/16/2016: Received IV Bill

10/11/2016: Submitted AOS/IV documentation

10/11/2016: Paid IV fee bill

10/14/2016: Submitted DS-260

It takes 3-4 days for the consulate to receive your electronic file. Then anywhere from 7 to 10 days to get your physical file. Your Packet 3 letter will go out in 2-3 weeks after their receiving of the physical file, based on what we were told.

Nobody knows for sure how fast they will process your file but you will once you are able to schedule your interview appt.

Btw, I would not recommend filing out any online forms or paying the visa fee until your fiancee has received her Packet 3 letter. The consulate had told us to wait until we receive the Packet 3 letter from our communications with the consulate staff.
