Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and I think is a great tool to exchange information about immigration!

I hope I can help people with my experience in vawa applications and also be helped by those that have been on the same spot!

I have applied for my vawa on August 11, on August 18 I received a NOA asking for ROF (police clearances).

I sent my response on September 16 and haven't heard any updates yet. Is that normal?

Also I filed my I-485 congruently cause my abusive husband if 10 years is a US citizen. ucsis send it back to me asking me to pay the fee of $1070.00. Is there a fee waiver I can file for that kind of form?

Thank you so much

Hi,

Yes, you can request a fee waiver by completing an I-912 and including it with your I-485 application. You'll need to provide evidence as to why you are eligible to have the fee waived so it's best to read the instructions thoroughly.

http://www.uscis.gov/i-912

Best of luck!

Thank you tweak!

Does anybody now if since i have filed my police clearances along with my I-360, would I have to attach them again with my I-485 application?

Can I just make a note to USCIS and say " Please refer to I-360 application form for polices clearances"

Both forms were applied congruently.

Thank you
