Hi everyone, I didn't want to open a new topic as it is already available here. However, as it is from 2011, i was wondering if anyone could provide updates as to what the requirements are for current date. I did a search and it does not mention much about green card holders with expired foreign passport.

My wedding is next year in Vancouver, BC and I hope that my close friend from Seattle, Washington can attend. As she is from Seattle, it would be likely that she'd travel by land. However, I have the same question for her parents, if they were travelling by air as they are from Phoeniz, AZ.

I was unsuccessful with the search engine therefore, hope that VJ members could help.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the Canadian border patrol website - your friend should be able to find a direct answer there about travelling into Canada. Are they Canadian citizens or citizens of another country?
