To all at the Manila Embassy, or anyone who might have an idea.

I just went to the Manila Web Site and punched in our case number to see if they had posted anything yet

as to Medical and or Interview Information.

When it popped up with some information, this is what came up.

Case Number: MNL200679XXXX-Edited

Visa Classification: CR1

St. Luke's Appointment Date: Friday, April 20, 2007 (12:00:00 AM)

Embassy Appointment Date: Friday, April 20, 2007 (6:30:00 AM)

I guess I was just wondering what the Embassy Appointment Date refers to.

It is posted with the same date as the Medical, and before the time posted for the Medical as well.

What is the Embassy Appointment Date and time, and what is it. Is it the same as the Medical, and just two different times for the Medical? Just trying to make sense of it as 12 AM is Midnight if I am correct. Do they really do Medicals at Midnight? I am really confused now...dont get it.

So just wondering, any thoughts appreciated.

Randy,

All Manila CR-1s will show a midnite appoinment for medical same day as the interview. Ignore that. If you were the agent of choice, you'll receive the Packet 4 shortly. Make a copy of everything and send the original packet to your spouse ASAP. When she receives, send her to St. Luke's early, a month ahead would be good. Or, as frdmrk2 says, call the embassy and have them send the packet to St. Luke's. Your spouse can pick it up there. That will save you the time and expense of express mailing.

Good luck, you're almost there!!!

I want to thank all of you for the quick reply.

It is so nice to hear that the embassy appointment is the interview date.

I guess i am so floored that is so soon. Here I have been thinking July by reading so many time lines in the past, and maybe that was a mistake. But now I am glad I read them , and realizre that things have changed such a great deal in just the past year. So in expecting a date much farther out, now it is next month....Wow!

I guess i will be in a mad rush to get all the required documentation together much sooner, and hope I dont forget anything. So now I had better get ahold of my wife and let her know, she is surley going to cry in her joy in knowing it will be much sooner, and I just sent her off to school to keep her busy. Oh well...it was an effort of love to keep her mind busy. I will pray for all our destinies to be fulfilled, and pray for all those in AR, and pray we will not be in the same boat for any reason. Thank you to all having responded, it is so nice in hearing from you, and hope to hear more in the future. Thank You!

God Bless and I will stay in touch.

Hi Randyandrose,

I have the same Medical and Interview schedule (April 20). I will have my medical exam early, I am planning to have it either on the 3rd or 4th week of this month. Don't want to do it after Holy Week (maybe they will be busy because of the holidays and backlogs) and I need to time it before/after my period (red flag days). If you still don't have your packet and would want an early medical, you can call St. Lukes for a packet pick-up and schedule with them your medical. But if you're not in a hurry, you can wait for your packet to arrive.

Good luck to us!!! God Bless!

Hello,

Do you have the number for St. Lukes or Embassy call center? Beneficiary can call them or only the USC can call them?

If you go o this web site page for the Embassy, it has all the numbers and addresses.

I hope it helps you out, it pretty much explains what is what right on there.

And when it says they assess a charge to call, it is 18 or 20 doillars, I cant remember, but not cheap.

Hope that helps...

Yes Aloha, this is me, Helen.

hi helen.. do you think is it possible to go st lukes even if without the packet4 yet.. and if so what would i bring then?I already got my interview date for cr-1 on 23rd of April but i'd like to do it early.. what do you think?

Thanks,

Boo

Hey there boo, yes u can go to st lukes without a packet 4 yet!!! I think u have to call either US EMBASSY call center or St LUKES and let them know that u are planning to pick up ur packet 4 at st lukes. Im just done with my medical (eventhough my schedule is on april 10th) everything went all well... thank god!!! just prepare ur passport and passport/visa pictures. and of course ur $96. =)

Just to add...you can bring a copy of your NOA-2. Some did get in with or without appt letter or NOA-2. My wife witnessed 3 girls being turned away because the lack of appt letter or NOA-2. St. Luke's only accept peso equivalent of $95.
