Hi

We have received are NOA2 and waiting for our NOA3 (packet 3) - which is supposed to take up to 8 weeks (Via London DCF - for IR1 Spouse Visa)

Does anyone know if its still possible to find out the case number/LND number in advance of receiving this - is there a number/email?

I heard it was stopped in feb 2015?

Thanks in advance!

I just read a thread posted last month where someone obtained it via calling NVC. I was wondering the same thing though, our NOA2 was received last week and of course I wouldn't call yet but I'd like to get moving ASAP :)

We haven't received our NOA3 packet yet, but we have been hounding the office through Twitter and email

So InfoUnit emailed us LND number yesterday, 27 October.

We received NOA2 Oct 13 dated Oct 12 and Embassy said they received our petition Aug 17.

Married in January, 1998

I-130 Sent : 2015-08-08

I-130 NOA1: 2015-08-17

I-130 Approved :2015-10-12

Received LND: 2015-10-27 - (via email from London, InfoUnit <LondonInfoUnit@state.gov>)

You don't get much in packet 4 other than the LND number - I went right ahead and completed the ds-260, booked medical, and then submitted interview readiness.

Had medical today, and waiting on an Interview date

Good luck

Wow this makes me feel so much better!! We just got out approval letter last week - I just tried calling a number that some couples had success with getting their case # before getting it in the post, but it was pointless as it was all automated and when I finally got to speak to someone, they told me to make an account (but you need the case number to make the account...)<_<

Anyways I'm really hoping ours comes that soon because that's amazing timing!

But what's this email that you sent to LondonInfoUnit@state.gov? Did they actually reply with the case #? :o

I did send a request for my LND number via the contact form http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html and received a prompt reply - but only that it was in process

Then pretty much received it the following day anyway - so I would just hang in there.
