No, you do not have to wait. Once you have your MNL # you can move forward.

Pay your visa fee at BPI

Schedule your interview (I always suggest 4-5 weeks out from when you got your MNL#), print copies of the confirmation page for the medical at SLEC and the interview.

Complete your medical

Hello again Hank! One of SLEC'S requirement is a copy of the NVC Letter with the case number on it, or if we dont have it by mail, a copy of he screenshot of the case number with "READY" status in it... they will ask for it when i go for my medical exam...

So, our case is not ready yet and still IN Transit and im afraid it will stay in Transit until up to my medical exam date to which i wont be able to provide them with that specific requirement...

Do you think i should still continue and pursue with setting an interview and medical appointment?

Sorry if i have to ask again... i just want to make sure about it. Every step is crucial... :)

Thank you!

Ya they have that printed wrong from what USEM states as required. You only need copies of ONE or the OTHER; NVC letter or the Interview Confirmation Page from scheduling your interview.

Not sure what IN Transit has to do with anything, the letter from NVC is sent to your fiance (USC) once the package ships to USEM, he needs only to email you a copy when he receives it (trouble is NVC is slow mailing those at times - still no worries), but it is not vital for getting the medical done.. forget about it if you don't have it. Bring copies of you INTERVIEW CONFIRMATION page, write your MNL # on the copies and if the guard tries to give you BS about the NVC letter simply tell him the Embassy says ONLY one or the OTHER is required (not both), and the instructions letter is the OTHER requested document.

If you don't have the NVC letter don't worry about it.

Yes continue to complete your medical, for sure do NOT wait for a letter from NVC, it is not necessary.
