THe doctors for the embassy interview believed my fiancee that he had already had chicken pox (which he did). I am wondering if the civil surgeon on the states is going to do the same, or should he get the vaccine in Argentina just to cause less hassle in the future. The vaccine is also cheaper in Argentina than in the U.S.

THankyou

I did read somewhere that Civil Surgeons do accept verbal declarations of having had the chicken pox. If the particular CS you go to doesn't, for some reason, you could get a blood titer test to prove that he's had chicken pox. This might be cheaper than a vaccine.
