Assembling docs for removing condition - really would like to get answers on these questions

Good morning,

I have posted here previously and folks have been very helpful. I do, however, still have several questions remain open and would really appreciate for all inputs.

First of all, here are all the docs I have in hand:

  • Copy of my GC, Copy of my husband's DL, Copy of my DL, Copy of his Military ID (active duty), Copy of my Military Dependent ID, Copy of my foreign passport
  • Husband's LES showing as married soldier payment and housing benefit, Official statement from my employer showing my current position
  • Tri-care health insurance showing I am a dependent under my husband
  • Life Insurance showing I am a beneficiary of my husband
  • USAA Auto Insurance showing we share one account
  • Copies of our lease
  • Tax transcript from 2013 and 2014
  • Official statement from Bank of America to prove we share a joint saving account within past 12 month transactions
  • Official statement from my Auto loan finance institute showing that both of our names are on my car title
  • Copies of Credit card transaction and payment for past 12 month
  • Photos from day to day life
  • Check of $590
  • Application form filled and signed by both of us

Questions:

1. Do I need to have sworn affidavits from our friends and parents?

2. Do I need to get Medical Power of Attorney ? If so, HOW do i get it?

3. Do I need to provide past 5 years of address or just our current mailing address?

Also If there is anything else that I'm missing, please let me know! I really appreciate all the help!

Thanks

Looks like you have got a great package set to go for USCIS.

1) you need to have the affidavits but i sent two

2)You don't need to , suggestion , if either of you have life insurance and have designated either of you as beneficiary , send them that OR anywhere else either of you guys are beneficiary for one another.

3)i removed mine a year or so ago, i do not remember if you need to or not but lets do it if the official I751 requires it. how hard is that ? :-)

Thanks for the fast response - It'd be kinda difficult for me to get address for past 5 years since I was previously a full time student and moved very often from places to places, either share apt with other students or sublease a room, I honestly do not remember one of the addresses I've lived at since I was there for only 2 months.

I probably will not submit it unless I receive a RFE .

Thank you!

Correction, For affidavits i meant you do not need them but i sent a couple. i will still suggest to include the addresses whatever you can remember and a attache a explanatory sheet about the then situation.

Your package looks solid.

I would include copies of your bank statements (or did you include these already?)

You can try legalzoom.com for the MPOA, etc.

Also, the passport is not part of the ROC process. I would omit that. Good luck! :)

Agree with jdba you need to submit evidence that covers the relationship from marriage to now, not just the last year. The medical power of attorney is nice to have but if you have other strong evidence it's not 100% needed IMO as it's just one element of an overall picture.

How about adding wills (plenty of online resources). TBoneX is known for the correct comment that wills are good for ROC, but better in life. Good luck!

Thanks for the additional advice! I feel like at this moment both me and my spouse are too young to get wills (we are in our 20s), but I could be wrong!

Also I was under the assumption that since I am the primary beneficiary of his life insurance Military provided, it should serve the purpose of will.

You don't have to be an old fart to make a will, you never know who will get run over by a bus at any age right ? ;)

Yes, of course being the beneficiary for his life insurance is great but a will goes much deeper than just collecting money from

a life insurance and if you do not have enough evidence then why not make wills.

Thanks, I thought about the same thing after my last post, you never know what is going to happen so age should not be a factor in establishing a will.

I will look into the option, although my 90 days window date is approaching, which is 10/25/2015, I know it's okay to send out the package couple days late but I wonder what would be the latest if I do end up waiting on collecting more paper work.

Thank you

I would not risk sending the package even 1 day late. Get it done today or tomorrow and send it out asap, with or without the wills, this is

Wednesday and the 25th is in 4 days. You had 90 days to prepare, time is running out.
