Does supervisor Sylvia follow up

As many know on here, our case has been stuck at NVC for a very long time (eight months and counting). After numerous phone calls, we were finally able to speak to a supervisor today. She said that the "Senator review team" are gathering all our paperwork to look at our case, so it would just prolong our case if she started reviewing my DS-260 (which I submitted five months ago). She did say she was gonna keep an eye on our case and follow up in a few days if no action.

Has anyone here had any experience with a supervisor called Sylvia? Does she actually call back and follow up like she says, or is it just another of NVC's ways to get you off the phone?

I had a great experience with Sylvia, she updated our case from F2A to CR1 after to waiting for almost 3 months. I was able to get through to her when I called in and requested a supervisor and she took care of it on the spot. Hopefully she'll be able to assist you as well!

Thanks Brewlin. I'm lucky to be from a VWP country or we would have gone crazy by now. And after eight months and counting at NVC, I'm becoming quite the expert at the NVC process.

Still no news or update from supervisor Sylvia as promised. On the phone to NVC right now and I am PISSED.... My husband and I are getting so sick and tired of this. They've had all our papers and documents for at least four months and still haven't been able to review/complete our case.

Logged into CEAC this morning and saw three N/As. Cried for 15 minutes, logged back in like 20 times to double check that there's still three N/As and now I'm nervously awaiting NVC to open, so I can call and make sure that we have case complete. So nervous that the three N/As are just gonna be a technical issue and we don't have case complete at all. NVC has been such a hell for us, I just can't let myself think it's over until I have it confirmed.

YEAH, finally!! Now you're looking at just a few weeks and an interview will be on your way. And trust me, it's the easiest part, at least at the U.S embassy in Stockholm. It was over before I hardly knew it started. lol
