Did yall notice that USCIS processing times has not been updated since November 30th? It says they are still working on July2nd for more than 2 months now. This process is going to be lengthy :clock::cry:

Hi everyone! I have been following this thread since I have filed my petition for my parents on october and finally heard something from uscis. I just received an RFE asking for my birth certificate and parents marriage certificate for my dad and my birth certificate for my mom's petition which is already been submitted when i first filed, I was wondering if it has anything to do with how I filled up th application using my married name, but then I also submitted my marriage certificate since I am using my husbands surname..Do i have to submit original copy instead of the photocopies that I sent? Please help... I don't want anymore delays as it already almost 5 months just to get an RFE...

thank you!

just submit photo copy for now make sure it's clear they can able to read it. all I submit with my form I-130 is photo copy. I think they misplaces it that's why they ask try to call them just make sure tell them you already send the birth certificate and marriage certificate with the form just to make sure gave them a call.

have you get noa 1 or noa2 ? if they told you on the phone send again and if you already have a receipt number I think write it on the top of all document you will send is in case nvc misplace one again If it has the receipt number written on it it has a much better chance of being reunited with the case.

Hi i'm blessed:

I haven't heard anything from uscis after my NOA1. Actually I was thinking about calling them and asking them about my case but I noticed that their processing times have not been updated since November I know for a fact they won't give me a good answer because of that.

How is your case? Did you anything from the embassy or NVC?

Hi I'm blessed,

thank you for your response, yes i received noa1 last nov. My birth certificate is kind of blurry but that's the same birth certificate i have submitted ever since i started with uscis, I will call first thing monday to see if they lost my documents or they needed a specific document.

Is there anyone have the same experienced?

It was also written in bold letters on the rfe that says "all applicants need to request cdli( court documents and legal instrument )if there's any alteration or change of name which doesnt really apply to me.

Do you all think I should make a letter on top of the documents that i will submit explaining about my married name being used now?

I appreciate any input.
