So my daughter's visa is on the way. I was told before she comes here in the US we need to pay her green card which is $165. I thought we already did this when we paid the IV packet for AOS and affidavit of support that was total of $445.

Im kinda confused. I would need some help to get this clarified.

K-2 there is no $165.00 fee but for a Immigrate Visa IV CR-1 there is a $165 fee. That is the interview fee that you paid. This is a separate fee.

She is coming with IR-2.

Remind me, is she coming on a K-2 or a 1-R or maybe something else? Knowing which visa will help.

K-2 there is no $165.00 fee but for a 1-R yes there is a $165 fee.

That is the ELIS fee, You pay $165 for issuance of the green card once she arrives, USCIS will not issue the green card until that fee is paid. Once she has her visa you can go to the USCIS site to pay the ELIS fee.

SSAN are not automatically issued to CR-2 dependents. Regardless of how you completed the IV questionnaire. You need to go in person to a SS office to apply. I have no idea how the process works for K2 visas.
