We had our interview in August & were denied cuz i didnt file a Pardon for my husband. Was told by man at embassy, during 1st interview, that we will have to go back for another interview after my husband has 10 years in Mexico, which is in January. I dont have a lawyer & have been doing this process on my own, so I dont know how to schedule the 2nd interview date. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

Are you talking about a waiver? What kind of waiver do you need? So your husband has waited out the US 10 years to fulfill his 10 year ban? It's just not merely a schedule a 2nd appointment after a denial.

Yeah, its a waiver that he needed but we didnt file it. But he never was banned for 10 years, cuz he returned to Mexico on his own. Never had any legal problems when he was in US. But just for being in US illegally he has to wait 10 years, then its, kind of, like hes forgiven for entering. But anyway, his 10 years is up in December & the man at consulate said we can just wait till January & schedule a 2nd interview instead of filing the waiver. But what do u mean that its not just scheduling another interview? What else am I supposed to do? Because the man at embassy said thats all we would have to do.

Shorter & cheaper to email a request for new interview in Dec.as the CO said,

e'll have to do new police record & medical, be sure to collect some proofs

he stay out Examples Mx pay stubs , medical records from Dr visits, large

purchases made at reputable Mexican companies, lease/rent contract & active

banking activities to cover yrs, they at times request proofs from ppl claiming they

leff on their own at a certain date..unless he reported to the consulate upon

arriving in Mexico..dont offer up this info but have it in case its requested.

The CO said that he doesnt have to bring anything except the papers we brought to the 1st appointment since his medical exam still isnt expired in January. And they dont have to get police certificates in Mexico. But do u happen to know what email address I would send a message to for Ciudad Juarez. Thanks
