Just says "escalated".

That means the embassy will never see it. Someone inside the office will give you a generic response. Call back and tell them this is a question directly for the embassy...add a little extra if you need to ensure they send it off. Tell them it does not say "to post" and you know that its not being properly directed.

I just told them to send it post. She said it was sent already when I told her it had not shown a escalated to post. Two minutes of holding later she said it's been escalated up. They must think the average joe must be so stupid to just accept their first lines of response.

I'm still waiting. Day 19. The embassy is only closed on Thursday of next week.

I'm 3% excited they finally touched mine. (I know that sounds crazy) Last was Nov 3. No updates only the date. They haven't replied to my message yet. Thats been at post since Monday afternoon.

It is, i didnt think this process of getting out passport back would take that much time. Mybe in my case its taking a lil bit more cuz my ex wife filled a pertition on my behalf, but i was the one who withdrew the application. But like i said i dont know what they be doing behind thoose doors at the embassy.

Not sure what your status was before today, but, AP, is not necessarily a good status. It is a wide ranging status that means your visa is process of going to issuance, or your visa is now on hold pending additional review for up to sixty days.

My interview was on Oct 19 we were approved with no additional documents needed, my status never went to AP till today, lets hope its going to issued.

If its AP non immigrant then your doing good!!! OMGGGG I JUST CHECKED AGAIN MINE CHANGED TO NON IMMIGRANT

Something really strange happened, my case creation date changed to today as well... I haven't read about that anywhere else
