There are still a few of us here but there's nothing to update the group on. A few of us interviewed before you guys and aren't getting any updates or even date changes on ceac.

K1 Process20157/15 Sent I-129F7/27 RFE Received and Replied Same Day7/29 NOA1 (electronic)-text, email and website 8/6 NOA1 (hard copy)8/13 NOA2 (electronic)-email and website 8/17 NOA2 (hard copy)9/11 NVC Received9/14 NVC Case # Assigned9/30 Left NVC and Embassy "received" after extended AP10/7 Emergency Interview11/16....approved but waiting in the black hole AP AGAIN!11/20 AP finally changed to non-immigrant AP11/24 ISSUED11/25 Visa in Hand and Headed to the airport!!! AOS in 2016Filed 2/4/16Combo Card In hand 4/21/16<p>Interview scheduled 10/17/16 Approved on the spot

One thing I have learned from this is anything can happen from day to day. My wife has talked to other people about the process and hears different stories, but fact is, noone's case is exactly the same as another one. We know someone that received visa and passport back in 4 days after their interview. October 15, day of our interview, made exactly a year for us since we received NOA1 from USCIS. There have been many good days and few bad ones through the process. I imagine they have good reasons for taking the time they take to process everyone, problem is, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes.... little stressful... lol

Congrats!!

My wife called mail box etc this morning and was told same thing. Will be ready for pick up Tuesday... She said it may be because Monday there is a holiday... It is like they are near a black hole and are moving in sloooow motiooon... lol

I honestly don't know what to do yet. Probably just wait until tomorrow afternoon to see if status changes to deliver or something. Nervous about buying tickets without passports in hand.

Sorry for bad news... She told me this morning that Monday was holiday...

Try to use an airline with a free 24 hour cancellation like United or SW with no change fee

We actually wanted to plan on weekend flight, but it is getting closer to Thanksgiving and holidays... I see prices creeping up a little every week. Good idea though. Will keep that in mind. ?
