Getting Passport Back (Dominican Republic)

Yeah k1s are processed as non immigrant in the end. Does anyone know how long it will take until my fiancé can pick up his passport in Santiago?

I have no idea....

I will update as soon as I know ?

We are planning on Monday. She and her son will probably fly out of Santo Domingo: Has non-stop to Atlanta. Now buy tickets until they have passport in hand though. lol

not* buying tickets until is in hand

Passport status JUST updated to "Passport has been received from the consular section, and it is currently being processed for delivery" ... Did any of you get that update?
