Biometric Walk-in at Elizabeth, NJ

Hello,

I just received my biometric appointment letter for ASC at elizabeth NJ.

my Appointment date is 10/29/2015 but I would like to save some time and do walk-in.

has anyone recently done walk in for biometrics in Elizabeth NJ? is there any day/time for walk-in. I have read few older post about it here but I couldn't find any recent walk-in experience so I am not sure if they still allow walk-ins?

Priority Date: 05/20/2014

10/01/2015 - AOS package (I-485 & I-765) sent Via UPS

10/02/2015 - package received

10/08/2015 - Check cashed -- Text & email for "case received". Case Status: Fingerprint fee Received

10/13/2015 - Received NOAs in mail for I-485 and I-765.

10/17/2015 - Received Biometrics appt. letter (date: 10/29/2015)

10/21/2015 - Tried to Walk-in at Elizabeth-NJ, Talked to ASC manager, but she Didn't allow me before scheduled date

10/29/2015 - Finally, finished biometric as scheduled

12/16/2015 - EAD Approved

12/19/2015 - EAD received in mail.

03/03/2016 - I-485 Case Status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an Interview"

05/28/2016 - Received interview invitation letter

06/01/2016 - AOS interview

06/03/2016 - Case Approved

06/09/2016 - Approval notice in mailbox

No harm in trying if its not very far

I will have to take half-day off work to try and if they don't allow me walk-in, I will have to take another half-day off which will not go well with my manager at work.

Sure, i get it. i am sorry i have no answer for your question , what i have noticed so far is they have no set rule that they will let you or not let you do a early walk in anywhere across the country.i think it depends upon the load of applicants on a given day and on the discretion of the representative doing the fingerprinting.

rprp123 please to let us know if you were successful in getting a walk-in at Elisabeth center. I have FP appointment coming up at the same location and I plan to go in for an early walk in. Thanks

I tried to walk-in on wednesday and there wasn't much pople but still they didn't allow me. Don't go there early. its waste of time.
